I was talking to my local EB to see what kind of trade-in they would give on a few games I had and he said to me, "Hey, trade in two PS2, Xbox, or GameCube games and get a new release for $9.99!"

That's pretty cool, I think. Some titles are excluded, so call and check. But trade-in a few lousy titles you bought for no reason and pick up Vice City or Shenmue II for $10!

Where is the list of excluded games? I want to get rid of Batman Vengence and Amped.

I can virtually guarantee you that those games are exclusions. Batman & Amped both go for ~$20 respectively. Exclusions = usually older games, within the last year you should be ok.

There is no list of excluded games, gotta call 'em and ask if your stuff is legit. Basically all sports games that aren't 2003 are excluded. Just call and ask.

In the Big List GC thread, someone said they tried to trade in Tony Hawk 3 and Rogue Leader but both were excluded.

Kabuki Warriors is $9.90 at Fry's. If that isn't an excluded game, they will make it one. :p

Based on my experience trading in games at EB, anything that was released more than say, 9 months ago will NOT be eligible. I traded in a bunch of games 4 weeks ago, and the trade in credit I received was anywhere from $3 (yes, THREE dollars) to $20 for Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance. The majority were in the $10 range. Not bad if the games are gathering dust on your bookshelf, but if you're really interested in getting your money's worth, you're better off on ebay.
