ATi announces there new network video sharing software. Check out the Press Release. Seems intriguing. Question is how well will it work over my wireless LAN? Anyone else interested in this?
 
I'd be definately interested myself. I know quite a few folks who've been waiting for a decent network streaming solution for their AIW cards. I'm not quite as upbeat about the BBA requirement for the client machine however. I have a couple non-aiw cards, and one is a Sapphire 8500le that would seem to be left out if I'm reading that right....why BBA? Definately a step in the right direction, and I think its going to be Cat 4.1 rather than 3.1 as stated also. I hear IR blaster support is coming soon as well.
