EAX Unified drivers

I just baught an FX5900XT from Gigabyte, in the driver & utility CD, something called EAX Unified is given what is it , & Do I need it if I have AUdiigy LS or Onboard sound, on Soundmax 4XL supporting EAX 2.0 laready

Graphics card -> 5900XT
Sound card -> Audigy LS/Onboard

EAX -> Related to the Sound card driver

Why would Gigabyte try to confuse consumers? Maybe they're trying to up the number of CDs they are including in their bundles!

I don't Know, it is onlu 800 Kb , I got Tom raider AOD & Arx Fatelis free so maybe they need it can U tell me what it is
