ok well I received a sb audigy and it works great...except for one thing...eax....I installed the drivers and everything was smooth...this was also after a complete reformat...so then I go and play a mp3 and it worked fine and it sounded very nicely compared to my crappy ac-97 audio...so then I wanted to see how the advanced eax hd thingy is...so I went and clicked on the goldmine demo that came with the card and it said this: "Unable to initialize audio module. Be sure your audio hardware is EAX ADVANCED capable." so then I tried serious sam:the second encounter and and when I selected eax from the sound list...it said it couldn't find the hardware or something and then it reset itself to direct sound...but the weird thing is....I can do all the weird eax effects and stuff when I'm playing music... I do have on-board sound...but it is disabled in the bios....any suggestions?
