How do u make protein bars from scratch?
Here's my recipe for "bowl served" protein bars. (they are sticky and gooey, so you pretty much have to eat it out of a tupperware bowl)
9 scoops of Whey Protein powder (chocolate, I use Optimum Nutrition)
1 small box of Chocolate Fat Free, Sugar Free Jello Pudding mix
1¼ cup Skim Milk
1-3 Tablespoons of Honey (depending on your goals and taste factors)
1-5 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter (depending on your goals and taste factors)
Mix into a batter.
Mix in 3 cups of Quaker Whole Oats (not instant oatmeal).
Divide into 3-4 servings. (3 for me)
You can perfect the consistancy by adding or removing milk (1Cup-1 1/3 cup).
I like mine with 1¼ cup.
