Eating before sleep... harmful ?

I heard something about if you eat before your sleep it is not good for your stomach, but
why is it not good tho, does anyone know , before the fact that you might get fat ...
 
don't blow a fan over you while you sleep, you might die!

hehe well, you will get fat for sure, but not in my case :{ i been 145 no matter wat i eat

but doesn't it right after you eat and you lay down to sleep cause some problem for your stomach?

other than the fact it explods, no...you are safe. Seriously though, what type of problems are you looking for? Anyways, I've never heard of any.
 
bc last time i saw some poster saying that better not to eat 3 hours before sleep time to avoid heartburn.....
then i remember hearing someone telling me that eatting before your sleep might bring those stomach problem.... but i can't recall the name... i only remember it is something have to do with your stomach moving down or something .. ?!?! maybe my memory is messed up..
 
I usually eat 3-4 bagels just before I got to bed.

Doesn't seem to be causing me any problems.

Mmm, bagels. I like bagels.
 
From what I've heard you are not supposed to eat within 5 hours of when you go to sleep... supposedly eating and sleeping makes it so you don't digest food as well and it turns to fat.

Although I do this quite regularly and do not have any stomach aches... but I am not slim either. 😀
 
It's fine. I eat a bit of protein every night before bed and I'm sure you'll find that any serious weightlifter does the same.
