<< Smoking six packs a day does the trick too. >>

Yes, but not nearly as well as smoking crack daily.

Hell for the cost of this scam you could buy 8 rocks!
That'll last you... oh.... about.... 3 hours until you're hauling your stereo down to the pawn shop.

I just saw this scammercial about diet pills that act like magnets, "attracting" the fat you eat away from your body and flushing it out of your body. So you can eat burgers and fries fried in fried sugar, but the end result is like eating a garden salad!
You get three bottles of the stuff for 60 bucks.

Just sounds like fancy ex-lax to me :p

oh plus they guarantee your body will be as sculpted as the supermodels on the show...or your money back!!

i saw the infomercial this morning too while channel surfing. to make it more attractive to canadian viewers, they will charge in CDN funds as opposed to USD. not that i would order it, but i did notice this is prolly the first time an american company would do so.

infomercials are always depressing. they couldn't possibly afford anymore if no one was stupid enough to go for the stupid offers.

It's not always that people are stupid, they rely heavily on impulse shoppers as well. I have a sister-in-law that will buy crap off T.V.@3 a.m. who says

<< I'll be watching HSN or whatever and I'll see something and think, I just have to have that! >>

Usually it's crap she has no use for whatsoever :disgust: and before you ask, my brudda is almost as bad as she is! They make good bank so I guess if they want to piss it away.......

<< I'm going to market the E-coli diet. We'll sell E-coli in a pill, you get chronically ill and lose weight. >>

I lost 25lbs in 3 weeks and went from 190 to 165. I didn't eat for 3 weeks.

I have some magic pass-gas-and-lose-weight pills* if anyone wants. Gives us men a good excuse to fart in public. You can just turn the person next to you with a big grin "I just lost a half a pound with that one!"

*adult diapers are extra

americans are silly with their weight loss ideas. My favorite was the blonde lady with a buzz haircut. she use to crack me up

Susan Powter. Actually, her books are somewhat sensible i.e. eat less processed food and count calories, especially fat calories. But her exercise videos are really excellent, no joke. I looked at various exercise videos a few years back and hers was the most logical, and I think led to the most strengthening. It wasn't just a bunch of arm twirls and hip shaking like a lot of others. She emphasized percision movement, kind of like isometrics without the iso.

Quit complaining! Everytime I hear a TV 'Analysis' say our economy is hanging on by a thread I think the thread must be weight loss gimics...
