Eat foods with no labels. This is what we learned in de-stressing class (one of many things). Things like fresh vegetables, fish, meats etc. Non-processed foods. And no MSG.
How about you just don't look at the labels? My mom goes "OMG these Pot Pies have 800mg of sodium and a days worth of fat in one of them!" Now she refuses to eat them. All because she looked at the box once, she knew they were bad for you, but had no idea until she read the box. I ignore labels and just enjoy my food.
My meat has labels.

Mine has the Declaration of Independence tattooed on it.
That attitude is one of the reasons why so many people have hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
Most people are completely oblivious to the fact that they're probably ingesting 2-3 times their recommended intake of sodium because they don't read the box.
Most people don't realize they get a full day's worth of cholesterol in their 3 eggs that they eat in the morning, and they continue to eat more and more cholesterol throughout the day.
You don't need to read every label on every food, but you should at least be aware of what you're eating and how that affects you.
What's wrong with MSG?
Milk has a label. What about that?
According to some people, cow's milk isn't designed for humans.
So in the interests of going natural, I decided to try breast milk. But they don't sell it in the grocery stores. So I asked a girl there if she could hook me up with some.
Now I'm banned from all Safeways in a 10km radius :\.
Yeah, it's trying to tell you something.
Egg cholesterol is harmless.
What's wrong with MSG?
MSG is a chemical, why add unessential chemicals?
