Well it's obvious that it works.

Easier? Maybe if you have a dead cellphone laying around. I just used some super glue and scotch tape I had sitting in my drawer and the defroster paint I have been using for my tbirds.

Doesn't seem like a very long term solution either. What happens if that tape loosens up and the contacts come loose while the pc is running? The temporary aspect might appeal to some though. If your worried about voiding the warranty you might try this approach.

Does look interesting however. Could be a quick way to see if your chip will OC better using a higher muliplier or FSB without any long term solutions. I have been OC'ing mine with the FSB but am getting curious about the multiplier and this may give me a way to find out!

If you want an easy way to unlock your XP, just buy an MP

if you're going to buy an mp to overclock it just cuz its easier to unlock, you can just buy the higher xp for about the same price
