Easy way to send a friend a 300 meg file?

I want to send a friend of mine a video that I worked on (uncompressed) but I can't figure out how.. I tried setting up an FTP server but can't because of a firewall issue.. any other options? He's on a campus so he can't use any p2p clients..
 
Send file using AIM?

Also, might want to try putting it on a CD and mailing it. 😉
 
Get a free 1and1.com web hosting account which gives you 500MB free disk space, upload it to the web site and he can download it (he doesn't have to FTP).

All you need is a valid email address and phone number and your account is activated instantly.

Yahoo IM/chat is another option. I've sent and received some rather large files this way. It may take a while though. 😉
 
1. If you can both get on IRC, then you can send it that way.

2. Post the file to the alt.binaries.test newsgroup. Just make sure you encrypt it first or you will have no idea who is looking at your homemade barnyard porn video.
