There are many times I DON'T want my PC to be online....just want to edit photos.....while still having my router on for my ipad.

It's a WIN 7 PC w/32gbRAM core i7.....I know I can go to device manager and switch off my connection, but I'd prefer either a shortcut or a method allowing me an easy way to be offline with my PC WHILE STILL BEING ONLINE WITH MY Ipad......

Any ideas gratefully accepted!

I'm on XP and have little to no experince with win7 yet.... this sounded odd and so i'm curiouse...

Is there no option/check box... to turn off "Automatically connect to network when in range" or set your wireless connection to "on demand"... like in XP?

Sorry for the apparent confusion....I'll just unplug....seems the easiest thing to do.

And, the most secure. Just unplug the Internat from your router.

And, just as easy, . . . in my Notification area, I have the Internet Access icon showing all the time. A simple right click on it lets me disable it. Just a thought.
