Easy way to connect to the Windows 2000 Workstation Professional remotely?

What is the easiest way enable access on a Windows 2000 Workstation Professional machine from XP remote desktop client?

I don't think that you can. I know you can connect to a server running Terminal Services, but I believe you may have to use a third party program such as PC Anywhere in order to get access to a workstation running Professional.

You can't use the 2000 machine as a HOST for Remote Desktop. You can use a 2000 machine as a client (to remotely access an XP system or Terminal Server) - you can download the Terminal Server client for Win98/2000 from Microsoft.

If you want to remotely access the 2000 machine you need to use a 3rd party program. I'm no fan of PC Anywhere though - big slow code bloaded monster.

Try RealVNC. It's also free: http://www.realvnc.com/

I use this on all my client's systems that aren't running XP.

Would GoToMyPC work as well? Never tried it and don't know how good it is, however, so you may want to look for some reviews.
