Easy way for my sister to put pictures viewable online

I'm trying to set up a photoblog for my sister on a domain and host that I bought last week. I've tried like 6 wordpress plugins and they all suck. I just want her to be able to upload a group of photos in a blog type post, and have them show as 400 pixel pictures that open up to full size when you click on them. For some reason there seems to be no "easy" way to do this. I say easy, because I want it as easy as possible for her to do this. Ultimately she'll want to put up videos to.

write a little UI where she can browse pics and then upload em, having it display them where you want them.

i know it's not 1-2-3 easy, but if you have a little php knowledge it really isn't that hard.

Not happening. I'm just not going to be able to learn PHP this year.

Gallery 2. There's a Wordpress plugin for it, worked ok last year when I used it, the main issue I had with it was with the template I wanted to use.

I tried at least 6 coppermine/gallery plugins and none worked.

I'm trying the complete separate Pixelpost right now. Seems like it'll work better.
