Easy reset function for Xbox?

Isn't there a certain button combination or something that will reset the Xbox?

How about a DVD remote that will reset it?

Anyone know?

Take the controller and bang it against your head. I know you think I am lying , but it really works.

There actually is a way to mount a momentary switch on the controller and do a little soldering in the box itself to make a remote power button. There is a extra wire in the controller and xbox that is used, just means you can't use a light gun on that port. The tutorial for it is on xbox-scene.

DOH! I didn't even know they called it IGR. I looked that up and found out it is L+R+BACK+START... and it works.

just FYI, turning it on and off several times instead of reseting it rapes the lifespan of the unit in general.
