Easy question - Which do you think is better?

Looking for some opinions on this...

If you were moving into and living in an apartment/condo (3 floor building with stairs (no elevator)) and had a choice of 2nd or 3rd floor (the top), which would you choose? One is right above the other so they both have the same view (only higher in the 3rd floor) and features. If you feel so inclined, the reason why would also help. Thanks!

Depends on a lot of other factors...but keep in mind that the top floor will be the HOTTEST, and if the window also faces south, it will suck in the summer.

Top floor every time. You don't have to worry about people stomping around above you. And no subs on the floor above going through your skull.

Without the elevator, i've gotta say 2nd
It's gonna be a huge pain in the ass carrying stuff up 2 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor.
With the 2nd, its only a major inconvenience 😉

I've *always* lived on the top floor in every apartment I've lived in. Vaulted ceilings and no upstairs neighbors stomping around over your head FTW.

i live on the 3rd floor. its alot better than being in between i think. and you dont have kids/ppl stomping on the floor all the time

3rd floor. Even if you have to take the stairs to move, that's two days of extra suffering for 363 days of additional bliss.

It is always better on top and the difference between carrying stuff up 3 flights over 2 flights is not that significant (trust me, I know).

THrid floor... it may be a hassle getting stuff up there and lugging groceries, but you don't have to worry about hearing people above you...
we were on the top floor and main floor in our old apt and when we were on the main floor, it sucked, because you could hear the gal above us, doing exercises, arguing with BF, stomping around... i could go on and on.

I'd take the third floor...

My Fiancee lived on the 10th floor while she was in school, and while we were moving the elevator broke...

that sucked...
