Easy Question - How to switch between 2 displays

I have a question. I have a HTPC that is hooked up via the component dongle to my HDTV. I want to connect a 17" LCD via VGA to the video card as well.

How do I switch between these 2 displays? Will I have to disconnect the HDTV to do this? I've never done this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 42" Sony Wega LCD and a Samsung 17" LCD with VGA. This is the video card that I am using. http://www.leadtek.com.tw/eng/3d_graphic/overview.asp?lineid=1&pronameid=148

I am using the component video outs currently and am going to also hook up the VGA out to my Sammy LCD. I am not using the DVI output.

Go to display settings and setup dual displays.
I know if you have an ATI card you can setup profiles and then create desktop shortcuts to switch between profiles for different monitors.
