Hello, this is a pretty simple problem I think. We have an old DB app that runs on Access 97 which we need updated. It's not a very big database, but I want someone who has good experience to do it. Please name me your price and PM me. Thank you.

hi guys, thanks for the posts. i do not know unfortunately, woudl you be able to tell me how I can find out? i think I have the program in it's origional form w/o data on me, it's comming in at 50mb, i could probably upload it.

1) Compress the file before you upload it.

2) Have you attempted to run a COPY of the MDB file under Access 2003?

If so, what type of errors occurred?

Also, make sure to Repair and Compact the database too, should shrink the size considerably. I HIGHLY doubt there is 50mb of code, and 0mb of data in it.

Hi guys, thank you all for your responses. Sorry I didn't reply over the weekend but we had to move a datacenter for a large client and I was pretty much working all of the weekend.

The person whom refered this client to me is actually a vb programmer, so upon realizing this I decided it would be rude of me to give this job to anyone else but him. Unfortuantely he's also charging the client some hefty change but that's between them two now.

Thanks again.
