easy methods of backing up data

I have to back up data frequently on my computer (academic papers and such - files aren't huge usually) I know of many methods to do this, but am limiting myself to just a few things since I'm not some big corporation. Anyway, I'm thinking either CDRW, Zip disks, LS-120 floppies, and floppies.

What do you all recommend? If there are other not too expensvie options, let me know!

I'm thinking zip disks since more people seem to use them than the LS-120 discs, and also b/c I don't have packet writing software for CDRW's. Thanks for your opinions!

oh yeah... if i use a CDRW and do multisession cd's, how much memory do i lose each time i make a new session? if its not much, i may take that option instead. thanks

I would use CD-RW's or an external hard disk. I would not use Zip disks since they are not very reliable. I think CD-RW's have 16MB of overhead per session. Then again you can always erase the CD-RW and start over.
