Easy game for 4yr old

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of a stupid easy game for my nephew. He comes over and loves to play my ps3 but he gets very frustrated after losing on LBP.

Are there games with very little effort or skill for success?

I have a wii as well but I would rather have a game for the PS3 although any game is helpful.

Call of Duty: Black Ops. All he has to do is point in a general direction and hold the fire button down. He'll get at least a 2:1 Kd ratio.

But other than LBP, not sure how much easier you can get. What about random PSN games? Mod Nation Racers?

The PS3 isn't a family friendly system. Just put him on the Wii or get a DS. Really, he's too young for gaming. Kids that age need toys that stimulate their imaginations. Get him some GI Joes.

Yeah I know he is 4 but he loves playing some games after he done riding his bike.

random psn games is what I was thinking but I did not know of any that were crazy easy.

It is funny you mention black ops that is his fav game he loves shooting people. Although his KD ratio is like a .25. Never tried mod nation maybe that will be something simple for him to test.

4 year olds will play ANYTHING heh.

my nephew stayed over the other night and he kept going back/forth from my ipod touch with angry birds and a buncha other games, to playing marvel vs capcom 3. i just put it on training mode and he would just mash the hell out of the joystick and end up doing hyper combos and stuff.

i put it on training where the training dummies take damage and don't recover, so he could actually KO them.

Check out the PS minis. There should be a number of them (including Angry Birds) that should be at his skill level.

Depending on your views of gender association at an early age...Disney Princesses. My GF's daughter (5-year-old) loves this.

She's also having fun with The Munchables, Tangled, and Kirby's Epic Yarn. Must use nunchuk and Wiimote so maybe too difficult for a 4-year-old.

PS2: (if you have a backwards compatible PS3)
Dora and the Purple Planet. It is literally impossible to fail in this game. I'd assume that the other Dora and Diego games are similar. Don't know if they have PS3 versions.

PS3:
Flower (from the PS store). Controls don't get much more simple or intuitive than this. The early levels are very easy, but the later ones might be too hard.

I also let her roam around the open area on Pulse in Final Fantasy XIII. She loves the chocobos.

PS3? Hrm...

Maybe some PSN games...

I don't know. At that age, handheld games might be better...

My 5 year old loves playing Scott Pilgrim with her older brother and sister. She's also pretty darn good at Halo Reach!

4 is probably still too young for any game, but you can try Pain. All you do is launch a dude into stuff, can't get any easier.

My 3 year old likes Ratchet and Clank. He can't play it very well by himself yet, but it holds his attention longer than LBP does.

Only game my 3.5 year old likes is Marvel vs. Capcom 3. He can get to the last boss on very easy with normal controls. It is cool cuz the ai doesn't do much on very easy and he gets to mash buttons with Iron man, hulk, and wolverine.

If you have PS Move, Start the Party is a great game for 4 years olds, just hold a controller and whack things. My 4 year-old loves it. Also, Tumble is pretty good.
