Easy CD Creator wont recognize my CD burner!!

using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.1 platinum

it keeps on giving me this error msg

Creator API- THIS IS IN THE HEADING

Easy CD Creator Engine initialization failed. : (Could not initilization the Engine)

it works fine with Nero and CDRWIN

please help

installed the latest drivers already it worked a couple of weeks ago and now it doesnt

Did you install Nero and/or CDRWIN after ECDC? Easy CD Creator does NOT like to play nice with other burning software. I have got it to work with Nero on my machine but it was a headache.! I eventually just left one on my comp.(ECDC)

or try this restart you pc click delete go cmos make sure you burner in auto mode cos some time bios auto set it to manual.

Nero was already installed when i installed EZ CD Creator 5.1 and it worked b4

i just checked the CMOS and it is on AUTO

and still doesnt work

anything else??

I got this after I installed an older version of CDRWIN, newer versions works fine and plays nice with Roxio. Just make sure you install Roxio last to be sure. I think it had something to do with the older software not being Burnproof compatible.

ive unstalled every CDR software i got
and it is still givin me this error
