Easy CD Creator won't convert mp3s

I have a whole bunch of .mp3s on my hard drive and want to convert to .wav files to play on my portable CD. For some reason the convert and name button are greyed out when I have my source files in. Any ideas on what the problem is? Easy CD Creator 5 platinum.
