I am currently having severe problems with Roxio Easy CD Creator 5. But my problem is in Windows98SE not Windows2000.
It installs fine, all programs in the package work fine, it even burns CDR`s. However for some reason I can`t fathom whenever I attempt to use any cdr I`ve burned with it, it causes my computer to crash.
Its like this......put written cdr in cdrom, open windows explorer, click on anything on the cdr, up pops "EXPLORER CAUSED AN EXCEPTION 01H IN MODULE KERNEL32.DLL AT 0167:BFF712C"
If I write the exact same disc with Easy CD 3.6 it works perfectly no problems at all.
Roxio are no help at all and nowhere on the net can I find an explaination for this weird behaviour. The only thing I have changed is the CDFS.VXD in the windows\iosubsystem folder for a one which allows me to extract wavs directly from music cd`s. However as far as i`m concerned this file has nothing to do with cd creation.
Any idea`s anyone.
