Easy automatic backup software.

I need a cheap & simple-to-use backup program for a friend that is not computer-savy at all. He has WinXP Pro on two laptops and wants to use an external harddrive to back up his working files on one of them (on a cradle) automatically. He just wants it to work, no thinking involved (or remembering to press a button, etc).

Suggestions?

Ok, let's drop the "cheap" part and try this again. Anyone know of any good "no brainer" backup software out there at all?
 
Acronis True Image, it's pretty simple, you could setup tasks so they run automatically rather than a one button press. Setting up the task is takes a bit of knowledge but once it's setup you are good to go.
