Like a lot of people I was concerned about the heat buildup inside my Antec Aria case. Fortunately, I wasn't utilizing any of the PCI slots so I pulled off all of the covers and used plastic ties to strap an Antec 80mm fan in place. The fan plugged right in to the motherboard and it really pulls air through the case, case temperatures aren't a concern at all anymore.
Next step is to remove the riveted piece which holds the PCI slot covers in place and make a more permanent mounting solution for the fan.
Using this method I think you could run just about any CPU in an Aria and keep it within comfortable operating temperatures. I plan on putting another system together with an Aria case and an Athlon 64 3800+ which I wanted to use initially but didn't because of potential heat problems.
Anyone else have ideas for Aria mods?
