And kids eat chocolate eggs, because of the color of the chocolate, and the color of the... wood on the cross. Well, you tell me! It's got nothing to do with it, has it? You know, people going, "Remember, kids," the kids who're eating the chocolate eggs,

"Jesus died for your sins."

"Yeah, I know, it's great!?

?No, no no, it's bad, it's bad!?

?No, it's bad! It's very bad. It's terrible! Whatever you want, just keep giving me these eggs."

Easter for me, when I was little was:

An easter basket usually with a Stuft Animal Bunny (usually green in color), chocolates and carmels, jelly beans, Peeps (I would eat all mine the first day.. then steal my sister's), and maybe $10 in single $1 bills. My mom would also hide the plastic eggs around the yard which also had candy in them, etc.

We've never used real eggs. No one in my family likes hard-boiled eggs that you dye or whatever.

I grew up with hiding plastic eggs with loot inside (including cash) and waking up to an easter basket filled with goodies.

Me too, except there were real eggs hidden too, those were the sucky ones cause there wasn't any money in them. The eggs you wanted were the light ones that felt empty, cause they had paper money, not just change.

Traditionally:
You take the Easter goodies to Easter Vigil Saterday night and place them on the altar.
The Priest blesses them, and you bring them home, put them on the dinning room table covered. Sunday morning, the veil is lifted off, and your Easter Basket, with Real Eggs, is there.
