Easter Dinner

So I just got home from an easter dinner at my mothers house, I olny see her 2 or 3 times a year thanks to my drunk ass step dad. Anyway to make a long story short he hates cards he couldn't play go fish if you paid him so cards are dumb in his opinion. My mom is a card player so we were playing rummy a favorite of hers. He wouldn't stop talking about the news and NHRA racing the whole time meaning I couldn't get a word in and she had to answer him. I don't think I'll ever go back there again without hurting him.

Sorry for wasting your time ATOT just had to rant somewhere.

i am very sorry for you that your holiday was ruined. and i am even more sorry that your relationship with your mom is semi-estranged because of your step dad.

You should invite your mom to come visit you alone, since your step-dad keeps you guys from having a good visit when you come see her.

You guessed it. He is a redneck mechanic. He has a 1976 or something (don't really care or know what year 70 something) Firebird at over 500 HP and he wants to be buried in it.

If only it were legal. Its one ugly car, needs a paint job, new decals, and new interior. He even ripped out the Radio and heater becuase "Its too much extra wieght" but he never races with it.

 
Sorry to hear that, but don't let your problems with your step-father get in the way of your relationship with your mother. You'll regret it big-time later if you do.
