This is a riddle Google Maps, Yahoo, Mapquest can't answer.

Going to White Plains NY area, and thought someone who has driven this way would have aq good idea.

I'm driving from Boston I90 Mass pike to I84 in CT and then I can go I91 to I95 to NYC. OR I can stay on I84 and hit I684 and then shoot straight down to white plains.

Which is the quickest?

I always take 90 to 84 to 91 to 95. This is also the route all the Chinatown buses take, and they always make it in under 4 hours downtown to downtown.

So are you going to NYC or White Plains? For NYC, take 95 if it's not rush hour, otherwise take 84 -> 684. For White Plains, 95 makes less sense.

Well I'm actually going to Harrison NY to catch a train into the city. Harrison is south of White plains and is right off of 95

Take 91 > 95 > Exit 19 I believe for Harrison.

After taking ex. 19, go towards Playland Park and take the exit on the right, do not go all the way down to playland (Rye).

Take a right off the exit, then a left at the next intersection to bring you into the city where the train station is, can't miss it.

I've never gone all the way to nyc but I think 95 would be better than 84, as it doesn't cut through Hartford which is a hideous place to drive through especially at night.

I84 to I684 is a nicer drive, I believe.
