Easiest way to sync new Android phone with old one

I have an OG Droid (rooted) that I'm looking to upgrade in the coming months, most likely to another Android device.

Without rooting the new device, is there an easy method to sync up all apps (along with their data) to the new phone? I have a titanium backup of my current device.

all your contacts etc will come over as soon as you sign in to the new phone via google account.

many of your apps will automatically restore as well (they'll DL and install from the market) upon first sign in.

as for getting your app DATA across, i've tried that with titanium backup with varying success. some apps worked and some didn't.

I understand contacts, email, etc will sync up, as will downloaded apps.

My issue is with application data. I'd hate to have to do manual exports of things like note apps and the like, and then have to manually import it on the new phone. Also dumb things like high scores/saves for games and whatnot.

Many of these things are not saved "in the cloud".

after installing the apps, including titanium backup, copy over the titanium backup folder from your old SD card to your new one. then try restoring the "data only" in titanium. Like i said, it works for some apps but not others. try to make sure you have the latest app versions in your titanium backup.
