Easiest way to put a P3 700E H/S Fan on a Slotket....HELP!!

Ok this is gonna sound stupid but i am having probs trying to attach the retail H/S fan on a slotket... Tried everything to get the retainer to hook on...from chopsticks to tweezers!!! HELP!!
 
I hear ya, I had the same problem last week. What I did was push down on the last clip you're trying to get in place with a flat screwdriver and pulling out the clip with a smaller flat screwdriver at the same time. I'm not sure if you can picture what I'm trying to explain. Basically, as you're pushing down on the clip, you should pull it towards you with a smaller screwdriver so it clears the little knub and gets in place. I hope this helps.

OH YEAH BABY!!! i finally got that little ah heck in place. Heh i did exactly what ya told me....jeez i wish they would make it easier man. thanks
 
No problem, I'm glad it worked for you. Like I said, I was getting kinda ticket last week when I couldn't do it myself....then I looked at my toolkit and grabbed my smaller screwdriver, it clipped in less than 10 seconds. Enjoy.
