hey
i have an unknown modem over here, have no idea who the manufacturer is..is there an easy way to find out?
windows cant detect it.

i have no camera=(

the motherboard said tyan on it
but when i went to the website and looked at the P3 section, none of em looked like it at all.

Is this a custom built computer or a brand name? If its like Dell is might be propiatary Tyan board...have a look for a model name on it I know my mobo has name and model clearly on it!

You can also pop it into a computer and issue INIT strings to find out what chipset it is. Usually if you know the chipset you can pin down the manufacturer.

The FCC number is the most reliable source. As soon as you have FCC number you can cross it to the manufacturer by going to Here😎
