Easiest way to have an online photo album?

I have a few pictures from a group I'm in and wonder what the best way to get them all online would be. I don't want to link to individual pictures per say, I'd prefer to link to a gallery. I have my own hosting but resizing every picture and making thumbnails is what i'd like to avoid... Though I wouldn't mind free hosting if there's a site that does it all (or an application + my own server would be fine).

Does your webhost have Fantastico (under CPanel)?

There are also other alternatives such as Gallery, 4images, etc... search for those names on Google but I highly recommend Coppermine Photo Gallery. Sample gallery for Coppermine
 
If you have photoshop there is an automated task to create a gallery from a folder.

Some members here like the web apps "coppermine" and "gallery"... both seem to have many features and plenty of good reviews.
