I have a failing 15 gig HD with XP on it, (boot drive C)
I have a new 80 gig (partitioned as D and I drives )
I want to remove the now C: drive and use/convert the partioned drive ( I ) into (D and C)
If it makes any difference, D: was the whole drive setup the old fashioned way, I have since made the partition on it, (I) with Partition Magic 8. Fat 32, non active both D and I.
I drive would be the one changed to C
I am not wanting to transfer XP, will do a clean install.
I am not computer illeterate, have built them, installed op's and even setup HD's in the past, but far between and would just like to get a few opinions on doing this, thanks
