IYO what's the easiest type of job to get if you just need some temp income for a few months. Looking for something, just gave my 2 weeks notice at my current job. Yes I know you should always line something up before hand. Don't mind doing some job like loading trucks or something, just not sure where you would go to find a job like that.

Temp agency.

I worked at a warehouse during a few summers. It sucks.

But they started at $10/hr. The second or third year I went back, they said they didn't really need anyone at that time, but they looked at my record and it was "A" or "A+" or something. I was employed later that same day.
(Apparently "A" means "Comes in on time, and doesn't come to work drunk," cause I sure as hell wasn't one of the fastest workers there. Some of the damn boxes weighed as much as me.)

Warehouses will often hire day and temp labourers. Mind you loading trucks is a pretty shitty job even by shitty job standards. Might as well flip burgers or serve coffee. Pays the same.

Right going to go to a local temp agency on my weekend.

You should really try to pick something you like, and stick with it...

But call center is probably a good bet. Fairly easy to get in, fairly easy position, air conditioning, and depending on the size of the company you could move up to better positions over time.

If not, any fast food joint.

Heck, you should try to get an apprenticeship for anything related to construction. There is always a shortage of tradesmen. Carpenters, electricians, plumbers etc... You can probably walk on any job site holding a hammer and they'll put you to work. 😛
