Easiest nook color 1.3 root?

I know I should use google but I only have a few minutes before I have to leave (visiting my dad's apartment, gotta head to work but want to get his xmas gift 'working' before I run!) - I see that autonooting doesn't work anymore, any leads? Final goal is to get CM7 on it.

ha, i left already but am still open since I wasn't able to finish. Manualroot still the only option? Should I downgrade to 1.1?

manualnoot works fine, update to 1.4.1 and install the latest version of manualnoot

personally, I'd return that PoS and get a real tablet(android or ipad).

it's horrendously slow if you use it for anything other than an eReader

android roms are not optimized, missing hardware buttons, onscreen keys suck, honeycomb port is like alpha, no idea when or if ICS will be ported.

don't be cheap, get something that works instead of a compromise.
