easiest credit card to get aproved for?

i want to get a credit card so that i can save money by buying stuff online rather than buying it off the shelf for like 20+ more.
i'm 20. work full time, have some loans and don't think i have a good credit history.....would i be able to get a card, and where's the easiest place to apply. which card would be better, visa..mastercard?..with my current jobs i make ~20k a year.

Easiest credit I was approved for: 36 month loan/lease from Dell for $5k at 17

I have yet to apply for a credit card with a decent credit line and be approved.

Go for MBNA. That's what we got when we first moved to the US.

I've been pretty happy with my MBNA card. Rate is only 12% (as opposed to 18+ for most cards).

Alternatively....an AMEX would really be a better card for someone new to credit (assuming you can get one). It's much harder to get yourself in trouble credit-wise if you know you can't carry a balance for more than a month. JMO.

I was kidding on the visa black, but you can't apply anyway. I think it's one for rich people that visa invites. I saw it on TV

Anyway don't go capital one cause they blow, but you can find a secured card elsewhere. Just go through a well-known company and don't get caught up in stupid ass fees and stuff like they love to give.

Not true. They're accepted pretty much everywhere......especially online. Looks like Mastercard's marketing got through to you. They also have better fraud protection than most cards (especially relevant when you're talking about online purchases).

not true. i don't watch commercials i watch dvd's so i don't know where there marketing would get me. but about everywhere around where i live only accept visa or mastercard, some accept discover and some accept AMEX, but not many.

Uh....you stated in your first post that you wanted the card for online purchases. I just told you that AMEX is generally accepted online and has good fraud protection to boot. This is relevant to the stores near you how exactly?

This conversation is probably moot anyway since it's kinda doubtful they'd approve you right off the bat anyway. AMEX is funny like that.

Didn't you ask for easy? Is this the first time for a CC for you? Then you will have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run in the credit world. If you have to pay a higher interest to get started, so what? Every one did to get started. Pay your bills on time and do not overextend yourself, and the interest rates go down,or offers for cheaper cards come flowing in. Get started. Capital One does more for your age group than any other card company.

MBNA was easy for me to get and so was Capital One. I also have a credit card(not debit) issued through my bank and a Household Bank/Best Buy Card.
