Easiest and hardest colored cars to keep clean?

My deep blue '06 Pontiac Pursuit GT = a bitch to keep clean.

I own a silver 02 Ford Ranger and a white 00 Grand Prix. Both are very easy to keep clean, with the silver ranger showing the least amount of dust.

That being said, the silver Ranger never really looks that good when she's all shined up. It has a good shine, but doesn't have the "wow" factor that a black or other dark colored car has.

My favorite color for most vehicles is white. I like the contrast from the tail lights and dark windows to the white body of the vehicle. Just looks really sharp IMO.

I will never, EVER own a black car again.

We have a tan van and a silver van, both look fairly clean even when they're not.

Living with a color day to day, I've found the black vehicle I owned looked the worst in the shortest period of time, it showed waxing swirls and scratches very quickly.

The easiest to keep clean/looking good was white, but I hate the "Norge refrigerator" look.

I actually hate green cars & somehow now own 2 of them, just bought the vehicles used irrespective of the paint.

Black is by far the hardest to keep clean, but looks beautiful.

Metallic grey hides dirt the best but is so overdone and I can't stand it.

I'll put the extra effort into my car...

Silver and Gold are probably some of the easiest, Black or DEEP Blue is usually the worst.

I used to have a powder blue car that never showed dirt, it was really nice. My current car is tan, and it doesn't show dirt either.

i have a silver car: even when dirty, it still looks pretty clean

my sister has a black car: dirt sticks out like a sore thumb

Light Tan Land Rover Defender 110 = Total cleaning nightmare, especially after a good mudding run.

white, silver, gold are all easy. you notice a difference when you clean them, but when they are dirty, they don't really "look" dirty, just not as shiny.

I think white shows the dirt too much IMHO. It's too easy to see road splatter on the nose and lower panels vs. the hood and upper panels.

Silver is the easiest. Black is the hardest.

Best looking clean car is black. Silver shows the lines the best.

Bright colors like red, yellow, and white are pretty easy to keep clean. Yellow tends to attract bugs and insects though.

There's no arguing that black is the hardest to keep clean.

Easiest? The lighter colors...I'd say silver, then white. You wouldn't think that white is easy to keep clean, but it really doesn't show the film that's on there after driving in the rain.

Most any dark colored cars especially black are hard to keep clean but when they're polished and clean it stands out by far.

Silver seems to hide dirt the most but when you polish it up it doesn't really show it either.

They don't make too many in this color scheme, but I managed to find it in Late 80s early 90s Toyotas. It is the light sky blue. It looks clean even when I don't wash it for months at a time

I have 2 white and 1 beige, have owned quite a few cars in my time though.

white gets dirty in the winter, but I just pull out my pressure washer and it's clean again, I never worry about waterspots or swirls.

The Beige doesn't show dirt but it gets swirls but not too bad.

I've had Black and will never again in my life, always looked dusy and dirty, swirls galore.

Had Silver and it peeled like crazy

Red turns pink in the sun here even waxing it once a month.

Blue always seems to have swirls in it.

Even when completely covered in dust and pollen, my silver truck still doesn't look that bad.
