I am recovering a 60GB Win7 partition/image sector by sector on my 2nd gen, rather old 60GB Supertalent SSD. I did that already many times, although I don't remember how long it took last time with EaseUS
It's estimated 50-60mins and 30mins have already passed, it's at 50% now.
This seems AWFULLY long to me for a 60GB recovery.
I am pretty sure I once did a recovery with another backup program and it took only a fraction of this, maybe 10 or 15 mins max.
Why is EaseUS Todo Backup so slow?
The only thing I can think of is that I had to switch my PC temporary from AHCI to IDE due to something else where I needed it IDE (used the registry settings and drivers etc. all fine there)....but it STILL shouldn't take 50-60mins for a 60GB image????
Edit: I had one full backup (approx. 35GB compressed) and 4 subsequent incremental backups. It said that with incremental backups it takes longer rather than restoring from one single image ...is this the reason?
