Sweet!! The Wizard of Earthsea was the first fantasy novel I ever read. I absolutely loved it and the other 2 books in the series. I'm gonna vid cap it but you didn't hear me say that. 🙂

Universal HD starts dec 1 and its rumored earthsea may be shown in Hd on it.....

plus battlestar galactica and stargate: atlantis are going to be shown too since all teh shows are shot in HD already.

Is that the trilogy about the boy who learns magic (from a witch?) and saves his village from invasion by creating a fear fog, and then later becomes a wizard and later is trying to restore the luck in the world?

goes by the name of sparrowhawk

i wonder if they'll be loyal to the book and NOT call him Ged (since very few knew his true name)

they've already broke the loyalness and made him white

They were the first I ever picked up as well. I've only read the first and last. I never got back to the others. 🙁

I always got the impression that he was white when I read it. How does the book describe him?

 

he's described as dark skinned, chocolate brown

tenar was white, pale skinned

the folk on Gont were all dark skinned, while the Kargs and extreme westerners were pale skinned

Anyways, I will be capturing this to my PC. I can't wait to see what they've done to the novels.
