Did I ever!

Tuscaloosa, Alabama here...definitely felt it.

BTW: I thought Mrs. Tallgeese had come down to get me off Mech Assault, and was shaking the La-Z-Boy.

MTG felt it too...because then she DID come downstairs, and asked me if we just had an earthquake.

They are talking about it on CNN. So far it's been felt from Tuscaloosa to Atlanta but I haven't felt a damn thing.

I called over to the BellSouth ACAC in Homewood and they didn't feel it either.

CNN just said Greensboro, NC and Chattanooga felt it. Has to be at least a 3 to feel it.

Goddamn. I seriously had a heart attack. My mother HAS never called me this late. I thought she was going to say my step-dad died or something. I think I am about to freak out myself. She scared the hell out of me.

I grew up in California so maybe that's why I didn't feel it.

We were shaken out of bed along with our 5 cats and 2 dogs went crazy.

There were 2 waves of shaking lasting more than 30 seconds. The windows rattled too.

Any reports of how the Nuclear Plant along the river near Ft Payne rode the Quake out?

That is DeKalb County in Alabama in the Northeast corner bordering Georgia and Tennessee.

Cloudland Canyon is there. That's probably where the fault line runs.

I felt it too. I was thinking it was sleep deprivation from another all-nighter and me going crazy. :)

Clemson, SC here....about an hour and a half away from atlanta.
