Earthlink Sattelite good or not? 400kbps download/60kbps upload. Anyone out there have it and can say good things about it? It's Eartlink powered by DirecWay

I'd only use it if you have absolutely no other options.

I used to have DirecPC (which is the same thing Earthlink uses I think), and while you'd get pretty decent download speeds, you couldn't play any online games as the lag was ridiculous (which I suppose makes sense since the data is being beamed into outer space and back)

I wouldn't waste your money, I'd rather have dial up.

A friend of mine has Direcway as it is his only option. It works fine for him. He complained about the price, but he had the most expensive plan they had available.
