early access is killing steams store

there should be some metric and i dont know what
before a game is put for sale on steam
it seems 50% at least whats on steam is early access
im not interested in beta testing or funding
 
They have already (like a 10-15 days ago) moved early access games to their own section and stopped having them show up on the New Releases tab.

I'm happy with the change as was I getting a bit sick of all the early access myself for a lot of reasons.

Yeah this took care of it for me. I can go see them if I want, but they don't clutter up the front page.
 
Is that a beta thing because I still see them all over the featured store page. Why they wouldn't just add a "Early Access" tab next to the New, Coming Soon, Specials tab is beyond me.
 
They just need an option to 'opt out' of any early access stuff. I have no desire to pay a developer to play their unfinished (so much so, not even the publisher will let to be 'released') game.
 
It would be ok if it were limited like at first, but it just seemed to have taken over Steam and they were shoveling a lot of crapware. It actually made me stop looking at the store entirely and made me just check the forums here for releases.
