ear problem...

everytime i yawn i have a feeling as if something in my ear is "opening" sort of like a vent opening. however, right now it feels like something is keeping something in my ear from "opening" sort of like something is blocking the vent. i don't really know how to explain this but how do i get this feeling away? also i just came back from the beach, and i've got tons of water stuck somewhere in my nasal area. if i turn upside down or tilt my head back a bit water either comes out of my nose or i feel it going down my throat. i hope i don't get an ear infection....that's all i'm worried about.

I had an ear infection a few years back. It sucked nuts.

Might check into those drops for swimmers to get water out of their ears. May also try a wax remover.

Isn't it that when you yawn your ears relieves the air pressure inside or some crap like that? Considering that the ear canal is connected to the nasal canal (i think) via the Eustachian tube?

Here.. a pic
