Get an ear/nose hair trimmer.

Winnar.

Actually I've been sprouting a few longer stray ones here and there and my hair cutter will trim them when she sees 'em.

Hair folicles are usually towards the surface of the skin. A small notch in the affected area and you wont have that 1 long hair ever again!

that sounds painfull.

Ear hair is fine to pluck. A little sting but no biggie. If it's long enough I usually just rip it out with my finger nails. Otherwise tweezers work.

Now nose hair and eyebrows....that's a different story. Gotta use the "detail" trimmer for that. Plucking noise hair is one step away from torture for me.

You only need to do it once though! You can also use a soldering iron to close the folicle as well.

Can't pluck mine, so strong just trying that with one hair would rip the whole ear off my head. Scissors FTW!

Woah, what do you know, the plucking thing isn't nearly as painful as it sounds.

I have been cutting with a big pair of scissors and paranoid that it would cut my ear. After reading the above statements about plucking, I thought oh what the hell, just grabbed one and yanked, and it came right out and hardly hurt at all!
