Ear Buds for an MP3 Player (Zen Micro)

I just got a Creative Zen Micro (awesome!) and the included ear buds are a little uncomfortable (they seem a little big). What ear buds can people recommend that:

1. are comfortable?
2. stay in your ear without falling out?

I'd like to stay away from traditional headphones, since I'm using it at work (and ear buds make it much easier to hear someone if they are trying to get your attention). Any recommendations?

Shure E2C's take a little getting used to but are comforatble after a short while. They'll stay in your ear very well, and they sound better than most earbuds. A little expensive, though.

Sennheiser MX400 (or 500) seem to get good reviews. I haven't personally tried them, but plan on picking up a pair soon. I think Amazon has them for <$15.

Edit: what's your budget?

i'd recommend e2c's, but not if you're worried about hearing people around you. the e2c's do a pretty good job of blocking out ambient noise.

I think he wants to hear what's going on around him though.

the ex71s(around $20) are pretty nice, I used to have them but they disappeared on me so I got the ex81s(around $30) which are also nice.

I like my Sennheiser MX550s. Not as good as the Shure's probably, but not as expensive either. I use them when I run and they don't fall out. If the headphones that came with it are the same as the ones that came with my Muvo Micro, I can see why you'd want to get rid of them.

What is the difference between the mx500s and mx550s?

anyone kno if the mx550s have slightly smaller earbuds than the MX500? Cuz i have the 500 and they hurt my ears after a half hr.

I have a set of Sennheiser MX500s and am thinking about upgrading to the E2Cs for my daily bus commute. I like the MX500s for being a good set of budget buds but the volume slider has been wonky on my pair... if I slide it all the way up one channel drops out. I've found the slider to be more confusing (which volume control do I need to adjust to not hear the bus engine....) than the few times I've used it (quick volume drop for talking to someone... thought it'd be useful but I instinctively just pop the bud out of one ear if I need to hear). Want the E2Cs to help block out noise better.

Also, as an aside, anyone with an iPod mini, get applecare anytime before your 1 year warranty expires. 2 months after my gold g1 mini expired, it developed the broken contact pins/static issue that people were predicting a year ago. Don't leave the headphones plugged into the mini unless you're going to use it... it just stresses the little connector.

Thanks for the tips everyone. My budget is fairly unlimited, but I don't want to spend tons of money (since they are the kind of thing I might lose). I'll look into the e2c and sennheiser's.
