why aren't the eagles trying harder to win this game?

doesn't a win get them a first round bye?

would seem to me a first round bye would be worth risking an injury to a starter.

 
No, their seed is already determined. They will be playing the Giants next week, regardless if they win or lose.

As I said before, betting on this years Giants team's chances of victory, is an insane thing to do.
I am far from confident of a Giant's victory. AAMOF, I am more confident int he Eagle's chances. But I'm a fan and I'll root my fanny off for the Giants to pull it out.
Also, I hate the Eagles.
And I wanna see Dawkins cry more than I want anything else in this world.

The pass was incomplete to Hilliard, almost a full 3 seconds later Dawkins came flying in on his blind side after Hilliard already pulled up, slammed his helmet into his ribs full-speed. Hilliard suffered a dislocated shoulder, torn labrum and torn pectoral muscle. The guy is the master of the cheap shot.

When he hit Hilliard that time, he almost certainly did it intentionally.
It's hard to comprehend how that could've been a mistake.

He's an extremely aggressive and hard hitting player. I don't recall the hit you're talking about but was a flag thrown? Fined? I'm just curious really. He definitely hits people with quite a bit of force, but I don't see anything wrong with it as long as its legal.

I don't have a link, I've watched games where he's taken shots that I thought were cheap shots. I seem to remember one against Michael Vick, but I'm not certain.

There was a 15 yd penalty and he was fined $50,000.
