Lets get it started motherfvckers.

Remember when Dallas barely lost to a Steelers team that had Duce Staley, or when they didn't need OT to beat the Browns?

The Eagles play has faltered the last few weeks, you can't deny that at all. They barely beat a Ravens team, with a horrendous offense minus its best 3 players. They got absolutely dominated by the Steelers.

I hope you're ready. T.O. might be a big man, but no safety in this league hits like Roy Williams, and you know he's gonna be hungry.

Q. What do the Dallas Cowboys and possums have in common?

A. They both play dead at home and get killed on the road!

Oh you want the cliches that can apply to any team?

Q What do you call 53 guys sitting at home watching the superbowl?

A The Philadelphia Eagles since 1980

?? You mean 1960 right? The Phillies won it in 1980.

Edit: and it wasn't called the Superbowl back then

I'm not going to make any predictions until we see who's available to play, both teams are paper thin with people out. Hoping the Eagles can be the catalyst for a Parcells lynching tho :)

Ok, I was slightly off, it was the 1980 season, 1981 Superbowl.

You don't remember the lone superbowl your team went to? Granted it was an embarassing loss to a wildcard team, but they were still there....

Considering I was 3 years old then, no I can't say I remember it. Only read about it, if they don't win it, it doesn't count!

Two boys are playing football in Fairmount Park when one is attacked by a rabid Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy rips off a board of the nearby fence, and strikes the dog on the head, killing it.
A reporter who was strolling by sees the incident, and rushes over to interview the boy.

"Young Eagles Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal," he starts writing in his notebook.
"But I'm not a Eagles fan," the little hero replied.

"Sorry, since we are in Philly, I just assumed you were." said the reporter and starts again.
"Little Phillies Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack" he continued writing in his notebook.
"I'm not a Phillies fan either," the boy said.

"I assumed everyone in Philly was either for the Eagles or Phillies. What team do you root for?" the reporter asked.
"I'm a Cowboys fan." the child said.

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes, "Little Redneck Bastard Kills Beloved Family Pet!"

I'm a Cowboys fan and I don't even think the 'boys have a chance in hell at beating the Eagles. Deeko - you're as bad, if not worse than Kev, just a Cowboys fan :p

mwilding, heard it before....clever...

RagingBITCH, have you watched Eagles games? Given my geographical location, Fox has a tendancy to play them where I live, so I've seen every game. The Eagles the past 3 weeks have NOT been the same Eagles from the beginning of the season. Maybe its injuries mounting, maybe its something else, but the team just isn't playing as strong as they were. The Eagles that beat the Vikings should have destroyed the Browns and the Ravens. We will see. Don't forget the game is at Texas Stadium.

If you look at common opponents this year, they've all been played at opposite locations. Dallas played Pittsburgh & Cleavland @ home, and faired better than the Eagles did, playing those teams away. The Eagles played Minnesota at home, and faired better than Dallas. I wouldn't say you can call this game yet, records aside.

If Dallas can't pressure McNabb, it's a gg... unless Dallas can run the ball better than Philly (Westbrook will be healthier too but not 100%), they won't have a chance. But last I read was that Dallas's RB's were down and out... GO EAGLES WIN THE DIVISION (like there's much competition this year lol)

Eagles are in a rut but so are the Cowboys, game is up for grabs, edge goes to the Eagles because they actually have a QB. Eagles actually beat the Steelers in the turnover battle and the Cowboys are giving away the ball like candy on Halloween, only noone told them that holiday is over...

The eagles suck. I can't believe they lost to the Steelers. If they don't trade for AJ Feeley and make him the starter I will quit being a fan. Anyway, I hope the birds can utilize the bye week to set the ship right and prepare for the Redskins.

That response was semi-clever when you used it in the last thread. You lose 500 points for being unoriginal and using the same quip twice in an hour.

Considering the assraping the Eagles took yesterday I don't think I'd be talking smack just yet.

Excuses. Points not regained.

Oh, and to further pick you apart, you say "at least we get the bye week to prepate for the redskins"...err...the team you are playing next week beat the Redskins already this year, in case you've forgotten.

That's an understatement...

I wouldn't want to be the cowboys next week after the steelers layed a smackdown on the eagles they're going to want to come back and beat the piss out of someone, home field or not.

Cowboys got owned by the Bengals.... the Bengals ;) Sometimes it just hits the fan, Bengals were the first team to beat the undefeated Chiefs last year...but the Cowboys need to do something about their QB situation and their turnovers before they have a chance to get back to a thing called winning.

If you knew anything about the Eagles, you would know that playing them the week after a loss is not a good thing...

The Bengals knocked off the Broncos two weeks ago. I wouldn't call them a pushover.

Vinny seems to have a habit of having horrendous games. He in general has actually done well this year...except for the Browns and Bengals when he chose to throw 3 picks each.
