EAC / LAME

Using EAC V0.95 beta 4 from 21Feb06 with LAME 3.97-b2 on a 64-bit system with Win64 Pro. When I try to rip a CD using the LAME encoder, it results in WAV tracks rather than mp3's.

Anyone got any ideas?😕

Just run LAME on the WAV tracks and encode them. I like RazorLAME for that.

Checklist:

1. You have the lame compressor extracted
2. Under EAC->Compression Options->Use External Compression is checked
3. "Parameter passing scheme" is "LAME"
4. You've pointed EAC towards the LAME executable
5. You're pressing the CD->MP3 button 🙂

I stripped LAME and EAC and reinstalled. Same result.

I had no problems on my 32 bit Shuttle SN61G2. Any known issues with 64 bit?

Thanks for the advice. Any additional thoughts, anyone?
