thanks for the responses. I have done everything you said Workin' but I still end up with wave files. It seems to run fine. I ran lame.exe from a dos promt to see the message that blinks when I run eac.

I have been messing with this for hours. Could it be that its not compatible with win xp. I just don't know what else to try. I even looked at some of the help in dos(no help). I do appretiate the effort. Thanks
