Hey everyone, we're flying up there tomorrow. If anyone else here is gonna be up there, drop by. We'll be in the antique/classic section, yellow and white Cessna 195.

what type of planes are going to be at the show? any additional details?

Last time I went, there were nearly 900,000 planes there. It's the biggest AirShow in the world. You'll find EVERY kind of plane there imaginable.

It's about 20 minutes from my house. I've gone a few times but little planes are kinda boring - they need more military jets, both on display, and in the airshows. 🙂

Jesus.. Oshkosh Wisconsin? I think i'll make the drive...

I live 20minutes away & have been there several times. The most impressive is always the warbirds show. Man, are those planes loud!

I should get back into aviation... I used to be real enthusiastic about it. Never logged any time with an instructor though (didn't know any instructors, just a few cessna owners)

Yeah, I'm pretty spoiled that I've pretty much grown up around CFIs.

I'm back. It was great. And I've logged 2 hours of dual now in a 1939 Tiger Moth. It was fantastic.

wow that sounds great! pics??!!

here's a link I found b/c I had no idea what that aircraft was: Tiger Moth

The pilot took some pics ("hey, look over your left shoulder!"...SNAP! lol). He's gonna email em to me, I can post a few if you like.
