Just MP, I presume? Especially since Respawn did TitanFall.

I wish they'd just do one with a decent story.

Today, I’m thrilled to be able to announce that EA and the talented team at Respawn Entertainment have expanded our relationship to include the development of an all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. They join our other great studios – Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more – who are currently working on Star Wars projects. If you’re interested in joining us on this adventure, you can visit our Careers page – we have openings at Visceral and Motive and will be sharing more on these experiences soon.

Well it does say "action ADVENTURE", but that could mean anything in marketing-speak. New Jedi Knight? /shrug

sigh..

if Dice couldnt get it right, were supposed to trust this no name company?

Yeah I would like a good immersive single-player experience. I'm kinda getting burnt out on the MP genre. Dark Forces was great. Maybe something in the vein of an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game in the Star Wars world (just please no VATS combat system)

Respawn is hardly a no name company. Two founders of Respawn are the guys that created Call of Duty at Infinity Ward.

I've got a lot more faith in these guys creating something good and fresh, compared with DICE that just rebadges the same buggy junk over and over again.

In any case, not a random no-name dev-house at least.

I enjoyed Titanfall for what it was, but there wasn't enough depth to justify the vanilla version, let alone the deluxe.

I'm willing to take a wait-and-see, as opposed to the immediate dismissal some others are laying down.

enough FPS - how about a well done RTS or something other then "pew pew pew"

You're already off in that it's a third person game.

As for whether it's a shooter is anyone's guess. Respawn only has one game in its portfolio right now, but the founders do have a shooter rep.
